Winners and prize-winners of the final stage of the All-Russian School Olympiad, as well as members of the Russian Federation's national teams who participated in international olympiads in general education subjects, are granted the right to admission without entrance exams.

The right to admission for study within a special quota is granted to:

• Children with disabilities;
• Disabled individuals of Groups I and II;
• Individuals disabled since childhood;
• Disabled individuals due to military injuries or illnesses obtained during military service;
• Orphans and children left without parental care;
• As well as individuals from among orphans and children left without parental care;
• Veterans of combat operations in accordance with sub-items 1-4 of Article 3 of the Federal Law No. 5-FZ of January 12, 1995, "On Veterans."

Winners and prize-winners of school olympiads (according to the list) are granted the opportunity to receive the maximum (100 points) score for the Unified State Exam (USE) or entrance exams (creative and professional) if the applicant scores no less than 75 points on the corresponding exam.

Winners and prize-winners of school olympiads (Levels I-III), the University grants special rights and advantages (maximum score award), but only if the winner’s results were obtained during the 11th grade.

To grant special rights or advantages (listed above), the University independently establishes the correspondence between the olympiad profiles and specialties/fields of study, as well as the correspondence between olympiad profiles and general education subjects and additional entrance exams. Special rights and profile correspondences to specialties are indicated in Appendix 1.1 to the Admission Rules.

The right to admission outside the competition for study in University-funded spots, subject to successful completion of entrance exams, is granted to winners and prize-winners who secured 2nd place in the Creative Works Contest for High School Students "D.S. Likhachyov's Ideas and Modernity," organized by the University.

The right to admission outside the competition for study in tuition-paid spots, subject to successful completion of entrance exams (minimum scores achieved), is granted to:

1) Graduates of the International Gymnasium "Olgyino SPbGUP" (based on the gymnasium’s recommendation);

2) Participants of the Creative Works Contest for High School Students "D.S. Likhachyov's Ideas and Modernity," organized by the University;

3) Graduates of preparatory courses (in-person and distance learning) at the University, based on certificates of successful course completion;

4) Graduates of general educational institutions collaborating with the University under a contract (based on recommendations from the educational institution).
